Insanity
of Time
In creating this clock, I aimed to explore the effects of time through the lens of perception. As a senior at Penn, the pressures of time have become more pronounced as I navigate decisions about my post-graduate life. The clock’s surrealist and funky aesthetic serves as a visual representation of the stresses and anxieties associated with these transitions. The choice of paper mâché as the primary material was intentional, symbolizing the ephemeral nature of my thoughts and emotions, which, like the paper, will eventually decompose.
